Training management to use these procedures always comes up against the same problem: managers are trigger happy.<br /><br />Thee are no prizes for guessing what has happened and why but they do not see that what they perceive may not be accurate; or, if accurate, incomplete; or if complete then out of context. So they have to be guided to ask non-accusatory questioning and to listen to the responses. Once they have the relevant data, then they can be judgemental.<br /><br />Non-employees and especially those we love, deserve no less, albeit conducted less formally<br /><br />I am very fortunate in have a loving wife who anticipates my every need, even to the point of finishing my sentences for me.
